I’ve dreamt about the day I could write for purpose, with passion, since I was an opinionated tween. Now, as an opinionated adult, I get paid to do that in two languages. I’m a Cubanita de Miami™ with an incurable rampant curiosity and a penchant for socially valuable chisme, but at least I do it with integrity (thanks Haverford College!). Health awareness, the rights of women and children, nonviolent direct action, and seeking accountability through investigative reporting compels me. When I’m not writing, I’m crying about how much I love and miss my dog, Sushi.
