Singer Gio "El León" has released a new studio album called Éxodo, where he continues alone with the bachata heritage of Voz a Voz and with a couple of duets with Daniel Santacruz and Andrw John.

On a new stage as a soloist that began in 2019 releasing singles. Now, "El León" puts out an album with nine of his own compositions that he defines as: "a jewel of tropical bachata, perfect for the dancer and for those who like to listen to good lyrics."

The songs "Amante perfecta" and "En peligro de extinción" were the first two songs to appear on digital platforms with their own videos. The musical and lyrical maturity from the first tracks seems more than evident.

"Amante perfecta" is the song he is now promoting, a bachata with urban and tropical sounds about a woman looking for love without complications.

"En peligro de extinción" is a much more romantic and usual track with what he had worked with to date which is about a woman who leaves without knowing that she is going to miss out on an endangered gentleman.

The band

Voz a Voz was the three-member band with which "El León" started in music as its founding leader with a mix of pop, bachata and R&B. It has been nominated several times for the Billboard Latin Music Awards and the Latin Grammy Awards.

They had great success and traveled to Costa Rica, Japan, Hawaii, Alaska, Mexico and the United States. Their style took many elements from the urban music scene, which assured them many followers.
