Forty years after Rocío Durcal's first release of "Dejame vivir," Mexican artist Anahi Puente Portillo, known as part of RBD, gave it an electronic touch to make it part of her next album, Los Dúo 3.

The singer made the official announcement of the release on social media, inviting her more than 10 million followers to listen to the song on her YouTube channel.

"The video is now available at this link. I hope you like it a lot," said Anahí in an Instagram video.

"Déjame Vivir" is Anahí's first official release since "Latidos" in 2020, and follows El Divo de Juárez's "Mía Un Año," released last month in collaboration with Eslabón Armado. Los Dúo 2 (2015) was the artist's previous album, where she had collaborations with Marc Anthony, J Balvin and others, reaching No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart for 20 weeks in 2016, Billboard reported.

Anahi with Karol G and RBD

During her concert in Mexico on June 11, Colombian reggaeton star Karol G invited Anahi to come on stage and perform 'Sálvame,' one of RBD's biggest hits. The Mexican singer had not performed on stage for more than a decade before that moment.

In December 2020, Anahi also made a special show for fans of the novela Rebelde by organizing a reunion in a virtual concert called 'Ser o Parecer,' with four of the six members of the musical group — Anahi, Maite, Christopher and Christian.
