Calling all child foodies!

FOX’s hit show MasterChef Junior is holding an open call in South Philly for their upcoming season. Aspiring kid chefs between the ages of 8 - 13 can audition for the cooking competition at the Holiday Inn on Packer Ave this Saturday, Nov. 15.

Philadelphia has been home to reality competition winners for the past couple of years. Chef Nicholas Elmi won last season’s Top Chef and opened the successful Laurel restaurant in South Philly. Courtney Lapresi won the latest season of the regular MasterChef. Last year, Dom Streater won Project Runway. Another Gordon Ramsay cooking competition, Hell’s Kitchen, currently features chefs from the Philadelphia region. 

So take your talented little chefs to the audition and maybe they can be just as cool as the Latina ‘Kid Chef Eliana.’
