Contestants representing the City of Brotherly Love will not receive much love from Chef Gordon Ramsay in the latest season of “Hell’s Kitchen”.
Three lucky (or unlucky depending on how you look at it) aspiring chefs from Philadelphia will be competing along with 15 other contestants in season 13 of Fox’s hit show.
According to Philly.com, they are:
Jennifer Salhoff, the 33-year-old new executive chef at Cuba Libre and resident of Roxborough.
Sade Dancy, a 26-year-old from University City, who is a line cook at The Treemont in Center City.
Denine Giordano, a 24-year-old chef of South Philadelphia, who has worked at Local Tavern.
Although she’s not from Philadelphia, Ashley Sherman, a 30 year-old chef at ArtsQuest of Bethlehem, Pa., is also competing. She is originally from New Jersey.
Cuba Libre will hold a viewing party for their new executive chef Jennifer Salhoff, on Wednesday, September 10 at 8 PM during the two-hour season premiere. Guests will be able to meet Salhoff and try free tastings of her signature duck breast spring rolls, along with $5 mojitos and sangria.
Another Philly native on a Gordon Ramsay cooking competition show is Courtney Lapresi, who is currently in the top 3 on MasterChef.
