This Sunday's Super Bowl XLVIII will be the first ever to be broadcast in Spanish.

Fox Deportes, formerly known as Fox Sports en Español, will air the Denver Broncos vs. the Seattle Seahawks game in Spanish with broadcasters John Laguna and Francisco X. Rivera to call the plays.

In the past, Spanish language football games were broadcast via Secondary Audio Programming (SAP).

This is also the first year that three Latinos will be Super Bowl starters. The Broncos have Mexican-American guard Louis Vasquez, while the Seahawks have Afro-Puerto Rican running back Knowshon Moreno and Mexican-American center Manny Ramirez.
