Building Back Together, a 501c(4) issue advocacy organization and group dedicated to advancing the Biden-Harris Administration’s policy agenda, on Monday, August 14 announced a new six-figure radio and digital English and Spanish ad buy commemorating the one-year anniversary of President Biden signing the Inflation Reduction Act into law.

“In just one year since President Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act into law, families all across the country are already seeing the benefits. From more affordable health care insurance premiums and lower energy costs, it’s clear that the Inflation Reduction Act is living up to its name,” said Eileen Garcia, spokesperson for Building Back Together.

“This ad campaign will help ensure communities that have historically been left behind know that President Biden and his administration are delivering for everyday people.”

The new ad campaign will air a 60-second Spanish radio and digital ad and a 30-second English radio and digital ad on a number of stations for Black and Latino audiences across U.S. cities Atlanta, Las Vegas, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, and Phoenix.

The two ads underline how middle-class families across the nation, despite the historic rising costs across the map, are saving on health care, prescription drugs, energy bills, and more because of POTUS’s landmark legislation.

The Inflation Reduction Act is meant to curb inflation by reducing the federal government budget deficit, lowering prescription drug prices, and investing into domestic energy production while also promoting clean energy.

The legislation has become a part of Biden’s re-election pitch to voters ahead of the 2024 presidential campaign.

However, as inflation has cooled overall, Biden is pushing the bill’s other provisions aimed at combating climate change, creating jobs and lowering people’s health care bills.

President Biden said at a fundraiser last week that he regrets calling the bill the Inflation Reduction Act as the main goal was environmental spending and not to lower prices.

“The Inflation Reduction Act — I wish I hadn’t called it that, because it has less to do with reducing inflation than it does to do with dealing with providing for alternatives that generate economic growth,” Biden said in Park City, Utah.

The 730-page bill committed $369 billion to environmental projects, including grants to renewable energy companies and tax breaks for consumers. It also approved $64 billion to extend more generous Obamacare health insurance subsidies and $4 billion to Western wildfire resilience.

“Lower costs? Yes, it’s happening. The Inflation Reduction Act signed into law by President Biden is building an economy that works for our families,” the new radio ad titled “Deliver” said. “By reducing the cost of prescription drugs and capping insulin prices to $35 a month for Medicare recipients, Lowering health insurance premiums, and cutting back our monthly energy bills.”

“The Inflation Reduction Act is lowering the cost of living. And President Biden is delivering real results - for us,” the ad concludes.
