Philadelphia Soccer 26, which serves as the operational Host Committee charged with planning and executing FIFA World Cup 26™ in Philadelphia, will unveil the FIFA World Cup 26™ Philadelphia Official Host City Brand today, May 18.
The reveal follows FIFA’s Official Brand release on Wednesday in Los Angeles. The FIFA World Cup 26™ Official Brand introduces fans to the tournament’s new emblem, typeface and striking color palette. Meanwhile, the WE ARE 26 campaign empowers people, places and communities to play an integral role in engaging FIFA World Cup 26™.
“The launch of Philadelphia’s We Are 26™ brand is an important milestone in our planning for FIFA World Cup 26™,” said Meg Kane, Host City Executive for Philadelphia Soccer 2026, in a statement.
“The vibrancy of our City’s colors, coupled with the symbolic reimagination of the crack in the Liberty Bell and ‘The Rocky Steps’ as our distinctive brand patterns, captures Philadelphia’s energy and lends authenticity to FIFA’s brand story for this tournament,” she continued.
FIFA announced Philadelphia as one of 16 host cities out of a pool of 24 in June 2022.
Each Host City brand embodies its own unique culture and heritage, allowing millions of fans internationally to engage and immerse themselves with the city when kickoff begins in the Summer of 2026.
Later today, Philadelphia’s Official Host City Brand will be showcased throughout the city.
This includes a new banner unveiled on the exterior of the Match Play Venue; a ceremonial flag raising at City Hall; a social media activation at LOVE Park; and a city-wide advertising campaign takeover.
The activations will also highlight the #WeAre26 campaign, which features portraits of faces and places that tell their own unique FIFA World Cup™ stories and invites everyone to be a part of #WeAre26.
“2026 offers a once-in-a-generation opportunity for our City to unite in welcoming the world and this new brand provides us with our rally cry. We are excited to see how it will continue to unfold over the next three years,” said Kane.
FIFA World Cup 26 will be among the biggest sporting events ever, with three host countries, 16 host cities, 48 teams, and 104 matches representing the ultimate global soccer spectacle.
