Campus Philly is kicking off the upcoming fall semester with its annual CollegeFest.

The festivities will welcome college students to the Philadelphia region through a variety of free events.

More than 25 museums, cultural institutions, activities and events will offer college students free admission and experiences throughout the entire weekend.

“Campus Philly’s CollegeFest is a Philadelphia tradition,” said Jennifer Kebea, President of Campus Philly.

College students who attend the event can ride the SEPTA regional rail, subway, trolley, bus, and Philly PHLASH for free — an effort to make the event more accessible than ever before.

In addition, Dunkin’ will be distributing free coffee samples and gift cards at its Dunkin’ cruiser at the all-new Campus Philly Block Party.

“At CollegeFest, attendees will have the opportunity to explore their city, gather in-person, and kick off what promises to be an amazing year for college students in the region,” said Kebea.

The new “Campus Philly Block Party” is presented  by the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University and Moore College of Art and Design, and will take place on Race Street between 19th and 20th streets. There, attendees will be able to connect and engage with local organizations and brand activations by entering contests and collecting Philly-themed swag.

“At CollegeFest, attendees will have the opportunity to explore their city, gather in-person, and kick off what promises to be an amazing year for college students in the region,” added Kebea.

In addition to the multitude of museums, CollegeFest attendees will have the opportunity to meet the Phillie Phanatic, enter giveaways, and enjoy free breakfast at multiple locations.

CollegeFest is also partnering with B.PHL Innovation Fest and Amplify Philly to provide free access to the B.PHL courtyard featuring local vendors and artists, food trucks, and live music.

Last year’s CollegeFest broke records with more than 14,000 college students representing 161 colleges and universities registering for the annual event.

Participating venues at this year’s event include: Philadelphia Museum of Art, Eastern State Penitentiary, Museum of Illusions, Barnes Foundation, Museum of the American Revolution, Rodin Museum, Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History, African American Museum of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA), Independence Hall, National Constitution Center, and several others.

The 2022 CollegeFest will take place Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11, 2022.
