A new mural was developed in the facilities of the school at which the 43 missing Mexican students were enrolled. The “Normal Superior Rural Ayotzinapa,” located in the city of Iguala, features the mural in honor of the young people who “were not afraid to lose everything in search of justice and dignity,” according to Paula Escalada Medrano.
In her feature that reports on the mural, “Ayotzinapa: The school that fights and dares to challenge death,” Medrano claims that the phrase "Wherever death finds us, it is welcome” ("Donde quiera que nos encuentre la muerte, bienvenida sea") is heard with much more force these days in the hallways of the school.
