Mexican tv series “Toda la sangre” set to premiere in the US
The tv series Toda la sangre, starring Ana Brenda Contreras and Aarón Díaz, is set to premiere on the Pantaya platform on September 15.
lieutenant Edith Mondragón (Ana Brenda Contreras) and Elisa (Yoshira Escárrega), a local anthropologist, with the aim of deciphering a series of murders that have shocked the country. Together they travel through Mexico City chasing a ritual murderer whose peculiarity is to recreate ancient Aztec sacrifices.
The tv series is based on the best-selling novels of the Mexican writer and journalist of weird fiction, Bernardo Esquinca. “Archaeologists turned detectives, wanderers dressed in human skins, secret tunnels and catacombs under the asphalt of the city, and a ritual murderer with an apocalyptic mission. All blood is a thriller about the universe of myths and the realm of the "real"; both need each other because they feed each other. We are in the middle, puppets of forces that we intuit and prefer to ignore. Until the noise of the drums reaches our door,” reads the book's synopsis.
Along with the Mexican actress, model and singer Ana Brenda Contreras and the Mexican-American actor and businessman Aarón Díaz, Toda La Sangre cast includes Antonio Trejo Sánchez (“Un Dia Para Vivir”), Clementina Guadarrama (Roma), Cinthia Vázquez (“Amar a Muerte”), Odiseo Bichir (“La Doña”) and Julio Casado (“Malverde: El Santo Patrón).

The Spanish Language Mexican crime-thriller Toda la Sangre will premiere on Thursday, September 15 in the U.S. and Puerto Rico on Pantaya streaming platform; and on STARZPLAY in Latin America.
Toda la sangre will air ten episodes. Produced by Fremantle Mexico, the tv series is developed and produced by Showrunner and Executive Producer Zasha Robles from Spiral International, the creator behind Emmy-winning series “Falco.”
The series is directed by internationally acclaimed Directors Spanish Luis Prieto (“White Lines”) and Mexican Hari Sama (This Is Not Berlin).
The script has been written by Rodrigo Ordónez (“Los elegidos”), the Peruvian Alfaguara Prize Winner Santiago Rocagliolo (“Abril Rojo”), Mexican Natalia Mejia (“Ingobernable”) and Mexian Alejandro Gerber Bicecci (“José José: El príncipe de la cancion”).
