'Margarita', sequel to the famous series ‘Floricienta’
This new version tells the story of Florencia's daughter with El Conde.
From September 2, all fans of the series “Floricienta” will be able to follow in the footsteps of her daughter Margarita through the streaming platform Max, where the first five episodes were released.
The new youth series was created by Cris Morena in honor of the 20th anniversary of the iconic Floricienta, which was catalogued as a cultural phenomenon in 2004.
The story is billed as a “modern fairy tale, where Margarita finds a magical place to fulfill her dreams, but a witch threatens to take it away,” according to the platform's synopsis.

According to Max, this is “an avant-garde bet aimed at the whole family that will have everything that made Floricienta a phenomenon, and will add contemporary elements that dialogue with the present. It will be a vibrant, modern, original series that will maintain the bouquet of the classic stories.
The plot revolves around a teenager who remembers nothing of her past, having been separated from her parents during a rebellion in the kingdom of Krikoragan. Now, Margarita must discover her true identity and face the challenges of being the heir to the throne.
The cast includes Mora Bianchi, who plays Margarita, Isabel Macedo as Delfina and Graciela Stefani as Malala, the latter being the antagonists of the story.
As in the original version of Floricienta, Margarita will also include musical aspects that will accompany the story.
The streaming platform Max will release five episodes per week, every Monday, for a total of 40 episodes.
