‘Limbo,' the first Latin American production from Star+
The drama series will be available starting Sept. 28.
Limbo joins the list of The Walt Disney Company Latin America originals developed entirely in the region. The series stars Spanish actress Clara Lago and Argentine actresses and actors Mike Amigorena, Esteban Pérez, Rebeca Roldán, Geena Román, Andrés Gil, Enrique Piñeyro, Michel Noher and Andrea Frigerio.
"The journey that the character makes is profound, of healing on many levels," said Clara Lago during Canneseries, an event in which Limbo was presented in the official selection of the fourth edition of the French festival, in 2021.
Last year, Limbo was part of the official competition of the fourth edition of Canneseries, becoming the first Star+ original series and the only Latin American production to participate in that edition of the festival held at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.

About the series
Limbo tells the story of Sofía Castelló, whose life changes after a tragic episode. She is a young millionaire, who apparently has it all figured out — a glamorous lifestyle, a family that fulfills her whims and loyal friends who are complicit in her daring decisions.
However, her present is affected when her father dies. Back in Buenos Aires, the young woman must undertake new responsibilities and challenges — the family business, a rivalry with her two brothers and an unknown secret of her deceased father to discover.
Determined to prove that she is capable of doing much more than what others think, Sofia begins a journey full of stumbles and revelations.
All 10 episodes of the Limbo will be available online on Star+ starting Sept. 28.
