Chavo del 8 returns to television
After four years off the air, Roberto Gómez Bolaños' series will be back on Latin American television.
The iconic Mexican series from the 70s and 80s will return to television on September 23rd, according to Florinda Meza, actress and widow of Roberto Gómez Bolaños, through her social media.
Both 'El Chavo del 8' and 'Chespirito' will be broadcasted through UniMás in Mexico, Canal RCN in Colombia and the ViX platform for the rest of the countries in the region.
“We did it! Chespirito's programs are back. We are going step by step, but thanks to your love and requests, we made it happen together,” Florinda Meza wrote through her Instagram and X social media, along with an image showing a barrel and a heart, references to Bolaños' series.

The series had stopped airing on television four years ago due to a lack of agreements between Televisa and Roberto Gómez Bolaños' relatives over the broadcasting rights.
The return of these shows attracted nostalgia and fond memories in Latin American families who grew up watching the adventures of El Chavo and his friends. Several of the actor's fans did not wait for their positive comments on the publication of the publication of the actress who portrayed Doña Florinda.
