A special name
It is no coincidence that the series bears the same name as the album Páez released in 1992. El amor después del amor sold more than a million copies just in Argentina, a record for the country and Latin America, where it is still a legendary album for rock music after three decades.

The 14-song album was inspired by a new romance the singer had at that time. This love motivated him after a previous breakup.
“I met a wonderful woman who changed my life. She is called Cecilia Roth. Since I don't make records apart from my life, all the color of this relationship remained on my last LP,” the musician said in an interview at the time.
Roth was an actress, living in Spain and considered an Almodóvar girl. When she met Fito, she was in a relationship. The romantic spark between them arose during a party.
“I had just arrived from Madrid at that time. I did not listen to national music in Spain, not even Charly García,” she commented in an interview in 2021.
Although the relationship between Roth and Páez did not last more than 10 years, the inspiration and illusion of the new romance catapulted Fito's album and took him to perform more than 100 shows in 1992 and 1993.
The album's success made Rolling Stone Argentina rank it among its 100 best Argentinian rock albums in 2007.
