1.     iLe – Odio

This is not the first time we recommend this Puerto Rican singer, who was the female voice of Calle 13 for 10 years along with her brothers René Pérez Joglar "Residente" and Eduardo Cabra "Visitante". After her success with the production Ilevitable in 2016, Ileana has published "Odio" as a single of 2018, following the lyrical structure of her brother Residente.

Romantic music is practically the traditional Mexican genre. Nora Zahera (Parral, Chihuahua) is one of the most important exponents of the genre inaugurated by Juan Gabriel so many decades ago. "El Amor" is her last single from 2018.

3.     Puerto Candelaria – Avec une minute (Con un Minuto)

This Colombian group promises to break the barriers of traditional and musical monotony in Latino radio stations. Defined as "the most daring, controversial and innovative musical proposal of recent times” in their country its members mix theater, dance and humor in a proposal that aims to expose "acidly and mockingly the absurdity that is Colombia."

4.     Efecto Pasillo – Carita de Buena

Originally from the Canary Islands, Iván Torres, Javier Moreno, Nau Barreto, and Arturo Sosa have formed a thriving group in the Spanish alternative scene, fusing Latino rhythms and funk. "Carita de Buena" is part of their EP of 2018.

5.    Boston Rex - Tu Sonrisa

Better known as Reynaldo Goitía, Boston Rex has become another of the Venezuelan export products in years in which the country suffers the worst crisis in its history. In the midst of all the tragedy, Boston Rex has emerged as a solo singer - simultaneous to his work with the well-known band Tomates Fritos - and has shown his folk-pop facet with works like El Baúl de los Sentimientos Enteipados, of which "Tu Sonrisa" is part.
