Tina Turner, the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, dies at age 83.

April 25th, 2023The Queen of Rock 'n' Roll, Tina Turner, passed away this afternoon at the age of 83 at her home in Küsnacht, near Zurich, Switzerland.
Although the exact reasons for her death are still unknown, the singer's official Facebook page has made the announcement official.
According to The Guardian, she had suffered ill health in recent years, being diagnosed with intestinal cancer in 2016 and having a kidney transplant in 2017.

Turner began her career in the 1950s. During the 1980s, the singer achieved fame as a pioneer of rock 'n' roll by expanding the formative participation of black women in this musical genre.
