Over the weekend, Don Omar did an Instagram Live to tell his followers more about his new song "Sincero." The track talks about vulnerability from a male point of view when a relationship comes to an end.

"This track tells the story of a man who is vulnerable when he loses his partner and she doesn't give him hope for a comeback. When going through a situation of falling out of love, is when we are most susceptible and we don't mind showing our feelings openly to let that person know how much we miss him or her," he said.

The reggaetonero announced the release of the new song on Thursday, Jan. 13, after topping three Billboard charts with his song "Se Menea," and his return to the music scene. In its first weekend, the song already has more than 5 million plays on YouTube and has positioned itself at #5 on the trending chart of the platform. In addition, the video is trending #1 in Puerto Rico.

The music video stars Cuban artist Rachell Valori, and was filmed in Los Angeles. This is the third song Don Omar has released since his musical comeback after years away from the urban scene.

During his Instagram Live, the reggaetonero took the opportunity to thank his followers for their support, not only in his return to the industry, but also during the time he was away.
