The alt-R&B artist revealed this new track following her acclaimed debut album "Gardenia," which already has over 8 million plays on Spotify, and her recent appearance as the opening act for Maluma at the inaugural LA3C festival.

"Holiday is about that nostalgic feeling that comes over us this time of year. After the tumultuous times we've all endured recently, this song is a reminder to take a needed break and enjoy time off doing anything that brings joy. Whatever you celebrate or don't celebrate, savor the precious time with your loved ones. Life is too short not to," she mentioned through a statement.

The song performed bilingually alludes not only to Christmas but any other festive time of the year that his fans celebrate.

"Holiday gives me that warm feeling. And no matter what we celebrate, no matter what 'holiday'. Now let's enjoy. Enjoy this holiday season. I hope this song gives you a warm hug," the singer wrote on her social media when announcing the new release.

MONOGEM has cemented her status both locally and globally with an illustrious career in the electronica and pop space

With her debut Spanish single 'Soy Lo Que Soy' in 2019 she decided to embrace her Latin heritage and thus find her sound, which allowed her to release throughout 2020 the track 'Paraiso' which made part of Netflix's 'Elite' and HBO's 'Genera+ion' series.

The artist also expects to continue releasing new music in early 2023.
