Encarnita García de Jesús, better known on the Latin music scene as Kany García, announced the release of her new single “Muero,” produced by Sony Music. Two years have passed since she released her latest album Mesa para dos (2020), and the five-time Latin Grammy winner wanted to release new music with Alejandro Sanz, a feature of the highest level.

Their new song together is a ballad that speaks about the pain suffered when loving someone in silence, while also celebrating the joy of falling in love. This collaboration will be part of her next album, El amor que deservemos, which is already out for pre-orders. It is a song where the voices of both artists are constantly intermingled, but evokes the classic and melancholic style of Sanz.

“Something that I carried in my heart for a long time has been captured forever, a dream of mine: to work with Alejandro Sanz and defend a song together. Today that dream has become true, because Muero is a work of art, it is impossible not to get excited every time I listen to it,” said the Puerto Rican singer.

In her opinion, whoever is not capable of sharing her love "is slowly dying in the hardest way."

García's new song will also get a big premiere. At Sanz's concert on May 5 at the Puerto Rico Coliseum, both singers will share the stage to perform "Muero" for the first time. La Gira 2022 will bring the Spanish singer back to the Caribbean country after nine years. In addition to singing his usual hits, he will also perform songs from his new album Sanz.

For now, “Muero” is currently only available in a lyric video. The official music video will be released on May 27, coinciding with the release date of El amor que merecemos.

Before this collaboration, García released other singles from her new album. The first was “DPM,” then “Agüita e Coco” — with an excellent reception among their fans — and also “Justito a tiempo,” where she released her first collab with Incredible Rozalén, and they were able to perform live at the Platinum Awards gala.

García also announced that she will visit Spain to perform her new album. It will feature four concerts in Seville (Oct. 16), Madrid (17), Barcelona (19) and Tenerife (20).

Sanz is also hard at work on the road and new music. A few weeks ago, he released his solo song "Yo no quiero suerte.” On her social platforms, García wrote: “Uf, what an illusion I bring Ale” to announce the launch of their new hit together. Days before, both singers released brief previews on their platforms, which teased "Muero."
