BTS's RM is soon set to begin his mandatory military service for South Korea, but it hasn't stopped him from thinking of collabs for the band. During a recent interview with EFE in Barcelona, RM said he would like to collaborate with Rosalía.

RM said that he considers Rosalia to be a very influential singer and that all the members of BTS are in favor of a collaboration with her because "they respect her a lot."

The singer said that he traveled to Spain for the first time in search of inspiration for his second solo album, as a follow-up to his first work Indigo, which was released late last year.

"I chose Spain to travel with my family because I have friends who are not famous who told me it's a great place," he mentioned.

Kim Nam-joon, RM's birth name, said he came to Spain because of his love for his artwork and the chance to see paintings by artists like Goya, Picasso and Velazquez in person.

"I came to Spain because of my love for their work, and if someone enters my country's culture through my songs, it is an honor that makes me happy," he added.

BTS is currently in temporary separation because all its members must enlist for mandatory military service for 18 months before their 30th birthdays.

RM told EFE that this new reality has made him go through a very hard time on a personal level after being in constant evolution with the band for almost 10 years.
