Latino Lawyers from throughout the country have converged to Philadelphia this week for the 43rd Annual Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) Annual Convention being held at the Marriott Philadelphia Downtown Hotel. The Annual Convention attracts attorneys, judges, and law students from across the country, including public officials, business leaders, and general counsels from many Fortune 100 companies and other corporations.

The HNBA held their Annual Convention Welcome Reception at The Liberty View inside the Independence Visitor Center on Wednesday evening. More than 200 lawyers attended the event to kick off the week of programs focused on networking, building relations with clients, and litigation issues.

Mayor Jim Kenney and the Honorable Nelson Díaz started the event with opening remarks. Among the others who were in attendance were American Bar Association President Robert M. Carlson, HNBA COO and Executive Director Alba Cruz-Hacker, HNBA National President Erica V. Mason and Romulo Diaz, Vice President and General Counsel of PECO Energy.
