The Mexican Consulate in Philadelphia and the Mexican Cultural Center once again held the "Just Plane Fun" event at the Philadelphia International Airport last week.

About 250 travelers were able to see performances by folkloric Mexican dance troupe Grupo de Danza Nuevo Mexico and traditional Mariachi singer Pedro Villaseñor.

The goal of the event was to “showcase Philadelphia as a global-minded city that celebrates the many cultures of its residents,” according to the Mexican Cultural Center.

The event was sponsored by PHL Diversity.
