[PHOTOS] Opening Day of Spruce Street Harbor Park & Summerfest
The ever-popular Spruce Street Harbor Park returned this past weekend along with the new Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest.
The free, pop-up park in Penn’s Landing drew massive crowds to a floating restaurant, beer garden, hammocks, colorful LED lights and more for the opening weekend. This year, the park once again offered food from Garces Group, along with newcomers Federal Donuts, Franklin Fountain and Shane Confectionery.

Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest offers Philly’s first ever outdoor roller skating rink. The ticketed activity will offer roller and inline skates as well as a hockey-grade flooring system. The Summerfest lodge turned into boathouse-themed restaurant that serves food by the Garces Group and other local restaurateurs.
Both will be open daily through the end of September.
