CloudBolt Software has announced the appointment of Kyle Campos as their Chief Technology Officer, who will lead their efforts in global engineering and innovation.

This appointment follows that of Craig Hinkley as the company's newest Chief Executive Officer, Campos being chosen as Hinkley seeks to expand the company.

As a software company, CloudBolt is a digital cloud management platform, but has expanded to provide a host of multi-purpose software tools accompanying their cloud service.

With 25 years of experience in software development, Campos has a history in efficiently scaling development projects. Prior to his appointment at CloudBolt, he served as the EVP of Technology for Smarsh.

There, he led the company in its creation and launch, establishing its place in the software as a service market within three years.

“I believe that by enabling our teams with a strong vision of the possible, facilitating clear communication, healthy collaboration and sustainable engineering practices, we can drive transformative value and innovation for our customers and industry,” said Campos in a press release.

“I am excited to join CloudBolt and to lead our integrated development team in building innovative cloud and cost management solutions that help customers automate, orchestrate, and optimize to increase productivity, agility, and control,” he continued.

Alongside Campos, Michael Salleo has been promoted as their Chief Product Officer, continuing his work in FinOps — financial cloud services — and will be partnering with Campos and his global engineering team.

Additionally, CloudBolt created the position of Field Chief Technology Officer, appointing Rick Kilcoyne to work with customers and promote CloudBolt's services.

“This new configuration is a crucial part of our strategy to harness untapped market opportunities across the evolving hybrid cloud/multi-cloud landscape and drive innovation at scale,” said CloudBolt CEO Craig Hinkley.

“We are committed to putting our customers at the center of everything we do. We now have the right people in the right roles to deliver on the true promise of optimized cloud automation, orchestration, spend, and value,” he concluded.
