Aiming to spark the joy that comes while giving or receiving flowers, this year's PHS Philadelphia Flower Show has a variety of different exhibitions that try to capture this moment.

The 2023 Philadelphia Flower Show is happening at the Philadelphia Convention Center and this weekend is the exhibition’s last two days in the city. If you want to see some of the world’s premier floral, garden, and landscape designers, you better hurry up.

The flowers by themselves are already a piece of art, but the presenting artists created a diverse line-up of exhibitions inspired in music, lights, architecture and more — allowing the public to engage with them in a variety of ways.

Right when visitors enter the place they get immersed in a floriculture space with flowers that engage with a beautiful light show, creating a one of a kind experience and setting the tone for the rest of the show. After that, there are options for everyone to enjoy.

The Horticourt space in the middle of the pavilion invited plant lovers to show off their best plants in a massive competition.

The Butterflies Live! is a particular space where visitors can see native and exotic butterflies. All ages are welcome, but a separate fee is required — which can be purchased online or onsite.

Visitors can also experience tours and special experiences. Hands on crafting activities include creating flower crowns, candles, a floral handbag, and more. You can check the availability and additional fees of each activity here

There are endless options for food and beverage throughout the exhibition, as well as a huge amount of local vendors. The Marketplace features categories ranging from garden tools and decorations, to live plants, florals, jewelry, home decor, and more.
