This year's Dîner en Blanc waitlist is open!

The pop-up dinner party where guests wearing white gather at a secret, public location in Philadelphia, has a new date: August 20.

Last week, the waitlist opened with a new lottery system to inform guests when spots for the event will go on sale. However, being on the waitlist does not guarantee a spot in Dîner en Blanc.

The official Dîner en Blanc preview party took place on June 9 at the Headhouse Square Shambles in South Street Headhouse District. Guests enjoyed music, food from Garces Catering, DiBruno Brothers and Luke Palladino Catering, and wine from Apothic Wines (the official wine sponsor of the 2015 US Diner en Blanc series).

The guests also voted in the annual table decorating contest. This year’s theme is "Philadelphia Neighborhoods,” which highlights fifteen of Philly’s neighborhoods.

Last year, more than 3,500 people attended Dîner en Blanc, which took place on the Avenue of the Arts on Broad Street between Chestnut and Pine streets.
