Aldi, the discount grocery chain that bought Bottom Dollar stores in Jan., will reopen some of the previously closed stores.
The company announced on Friday that it will reopen 30 of the 66 former Bottom Dollar stores in Pennsylvania, South Jersey, and Ohio that were closed by the previous owner, the Delhaize Group.
Five of the nine stores will reopen in Philadelphia, while 14 of the 27 stores in the suburbs will reopen.
In Philadelphia, the following locations will reopen: 6119 N. Broad Street; 3975 Castor Ave.; 3101 West Girard Ave.; 9303 Krewstown Rd. and 7900 Roosevelt Blvd.
The following suburbs locations will reopen: 154 Airport Rd. (Coatesville); 48 W. Baltimore Ave. (Lansdowne); 2990 Edgely Rd. (Levittown); 703 Route 113 (Souderton); and 1955 Davisville Rd. (Willow Grove).
