March 10th, 2023Bloomberg Línea has compiled its list of the most influential Latinos in 2022, and on that list includes Sol Trujillo.
The nomination and accolade has been awarded to Trujillo for his dedication to not only the U.S. Latino cohort, but also for his influence and dedication to the U.S. economy by educating, empowering, and investing in The New Mainstream Economy.
Trujillo has set himself apart as one of the most prominent business executives of Latino descent, having served as served as CEO of various global companies, and pioneering the digital transformation of companies, such as US West, Orange and Telstra.
His impact has led to deployment of broadband, smart devices and digital services — including the mobile internet and ultra-high speed broadband wireless networks — to stimulate productivity and innovation across all sectors of the economy.
More recently, Trujillo has led the way in building an event-turned-movement along with co-founder Gary Acosta in L’ATTITUDE. The business-based national initiative launched in 2018 focuses on helping enlightened executives understand The New Mainstream Economy and the U.S. Latino cohort that is driving it forward.
L’ATTITUDE showcases the contributions of U.S. Latinos in business, media, politics, science, technology and more. Through this approach, the goal is to change the narrative of who Latinos are and highlight that this cohort is going to be the one that drives growth in the U.S. for the next few decades.
A year later, L’ATTITUDE Ventures was launched. L’ATTITUDE Ventures is a purpose-driven venture capital firm whose mission is to increase investments in Latino-owned, early-stage companies with high-growth potential.

Bloomberg Línea created the list of 100 Most Influential Latinos to celebrate Latino leaders who have achieved noteworthy success and positively impacted their peers and industries.
Trujillo is one of three people who made this list for his impact in the investment sector. The other was baseball player-turned-entrepreneur Alex Rodríguez, founder and CEO of A-Rod Corp; and Antonio J. Gracias, CEO and founder of Valor Equity Partners.
The other sectors that were highlighted include VC, technology, media & entertainment, food & beverage, tech, utility, financial advisory, sports, finance, travel, fashion, law, health, philanthropy, and several more.
The long list of categories are just a microcosm of the influence that Latinos have in the U.S. in just about every facet of society.
This epitomizes why Trujillo often stresses that the U.S. Latino cohort are the ones driving the New Mainstream Economy.
