The inaugural AL DÍA 40 Under Forty event will be a showcase of the most diverse and impactful young professionals in various fields of work across the Philadelphia region.

At the virtual event, taking place August 20, 2020, Dalina Soto, 31, will be one of the 40 honorees. She is a Founder and a Bilingual Registered Dietician at Nutritiously Yours. 

As part of the lead-up to the event, AL DÍA asked each of the 40 honorees the same three questions and collected their responses. 

Here are Dalina Soto’s responses:

The lack of diversity in my field. We need more latinx RDs that understand our culture and can educate our communities.

Starting my own private practice and educating our communities in Spanish.

We have to start at a systemic level. Our healthcare, our schools, our universities. Things have to change across the board to start seeing true inclusivity.
