On June 21, Enviri Corporation announced today that it has elected Rebecca Martinez O'Mara to its Board of Directors, and will serve on the company's Management Development and Compensation Committee, and its Governance Committee.

Previously known as Harsco, Enviri is a Philadelphia based company that seeks to recycle and reuse solutions to their clients in the industrial field as they work to address environmental challenges and achieve sustainability goals.

“I welcome Rebecca to our Board of Directors during an exciting time as we transform ourselves into a global, market-leading environmental solutions company,” said Nick Grasberger, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Enviri Corporation, in a statement.

“Her unique skillset and decades of experience helping companies transform and thrive will be invaluable to our board as the management team executes a strategy for continued growth and value creation,” he continued.

O'Mara has more than 25 years of experience in managing and growing multi-million businesses. Her previous roles include serving as President of Stanley Industrial Services for Stanley Black & Decker, a global manufacturer of various construction industry machinery, from 2020 to 2022.

Prior to her work at Stanley Black & Decker, O'Mara served as Vice President of Service and Solutions for Grundfos Holdings, a global pump manufacturer, from 2017 to 2020.

Other previous roles include vice president of customer service for Sullair and director of program manager for FIAT Industrial.

In each of her positions, O'Mara has been a staunch advocate of diversity, acting as both founder and president of employee resource groups during her time at Caterpillar (2002-2007) and AT&T (1990-2001).

She is currently serving as an independent director on the board of Kadant Inc., a supplier of engineering systems and technology for industrial companies globally.

O'Mara earned her Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and her Executive Master's degree in Business Administration from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
