Oaxacan actress Yalitza Aparicio denied rumors about her assumed fortune and opened up to her followers through her YouTube channel.

Aparicio spoke to her 147,000 about some of what has been said about her on the internet. Among what she said, she denied that "her fortune" amounted to $3 million (60 million pesos), and affirmed that her income primarily comes from movies, commercials and concessions of her image.

"Where is that account? Most of the activities I do, like they go to foundations, are donated to something or help in other things, so I don't think I have reached that," confessed the actress and added that her first salary was invested in books at a fair in CDMX.

In a seven-minute video, the actress confessed to her followers that she doesn't know how to swim, and debunked the rumor that she hires doubles to escape the press. In addition, Aparicio denied having a house worth millions of pesos and a sports car. Among other things, she said there was never an invitation to play Pocahontas.

She also talked about what she thinks about the criticism and how it affects her family, who did not agree with her dedication to acting.

"My dad was worried, everyone was worried because they saw all these criticisms and told me 'I don't know how you are there smiling and very strong if they are really things that hurt and hurt that they are criticizing you like that'. And I gave them an explanation that it does hurt, but deep down it's so that these things don't happen anymore," said the young actress.

As a result of a series of fake news, Aparicio decided to deny all these rumors herself and assured that she is already used to falsehoods. Instead of making her angry, she takes them with humor.
