New docuseries set to tell actor Danny Trejo's life
The Latino actor Danny Trejo stars in one of the episodes of the tv series 'Mi vida’, which has been released on Canela.TV.
Danny Trejo's childhood memories told in the first person and the most important and controversial moments of his career in the entertainment industry are all packed into an episode of Mi vida on Canela.TV.
Born in California in 1944, the Mexican American had a complicated adolescence marked by drug use, crime and jail. In prison, he learned to box and his survival marked the beginning of a new life for Trejo. In the 80s, he was hired to teach Eric Roberts boxing and scored a secondary role in the film he was working on.
Since then, Trejo has been in films like Machete, Desperado, Six Days, Seven Nights, and Spy Kids. The role's catapulted Trejo into the national spotlight as a household name.

With his epochs of brightness and dark, Trejo stars in the last episode of Mi vida, which dropped on Canela.TV on Thursday, Feb. 16.
The episode is one of six available for free on the platform as part of the Special Valentine Collection called "Secrets of Galanes." Fans can enjoy the stories of actors William Levy, Jencarlos Canela, Manolo Cardona, Julián Gil, and Guy Ecker.

The new original and exclusive docuseries from Canela.TV features 10 episodes diving into the photos and videos of the personal archives of Latin celebrities like Mexican businesswoman and actress Kate del Castillo, Argentine businessman, model and actor Julián Gil, Puerto Rican actress and model Roselyn Sánchez, Venezuelan actress and presenter Gaby Espino and Polish-Mexican actress Ludwika Paleta.
Mi vida, produced by Canela Media in association with JK Media Group, premiered in November 2022 and continues to broadcast weekly during the first quarter of 2023.
