Gina Rodriguez stars in “Not Dead Yet”
Latina actress Gina Rodriguez will star in ABC's comedy "Not Dead Yet." The fiction is based on a novel by Alexandra Potter.
“Returning to Pasadena, where everyone seems to have a better life than her own, Nell can only afford to share a flat with a stranger. Formerly a successful journalist, Nell put her career on hold to help her partner build his restaurant. breaking up, he takes the only job he can find: writing obituaries,” reads the synopsis for the “Not Dead Yet” series, based on the 2020 book “Confessions of a Forty-Something F**ck Up” by writer Alexandra Potter.
The character Neil Stevens is played by the 37 year-old American actress and producer, from a Puerto Rican family, Gina Rodríguez.
The script for "Not Dead Yet" was written by Casey Johnson and David Windsor, who are also executive producers of the series. So are McG, Mary Viola and Corey Marsh through Wonderland Sound and Vision. The comedy is produced by Disney 20th Television.
