“An Australian lone wolf's quiet existence is shattered when he learns that the woman he once loved and thought was dead is alive and held captive by ruthless gangsters. Now, to take on this dangerous criminal organization, he must seek out allies and storm into a world of violence to rescue the love of his life in this gritty, modern day violent fairytale,” reads the synopsis of the action, adventure and thriller called SNAG.

The cast of the movie is made of renowned Latino actors and actresses such as  Jaime Camil (“Jane the Virgin”), Sofia Castro ("Malverde: El Santo Patrón"), British actor Ben Milliken (“Sonora: The Devil’s Highway”), who served as director and producer, and also David Zayas (“Dexter”).

Zayas plays the role of Ramón, a mentor to Ben.  “I think they’ve had history in the past both good and bad, both peaceful and violent, and the relationship is a little bit complicated, something that can be explored. His character is so loyal”, he told AL DÍA.

To play that role, Zayas admitted that he had to practice a new accent a lot, something more like that of Southwest of Mexico. “This is always a challenge for me. Sometimes I am successful, and sometimes I am not,” he added. Also to build this new character, Zayas has brought his professional experiences as a police officer and in the military, to make Ramón as unique as possible.

SNAG hits theaters this Friday, April 28.
