The BBC series Killing Eve first aired in 2018, and is one of the channel's most-watched TV series. Eight episodes from its fourth and final season premiered on Feb. 27 in the United States, Spain and Latin America, where it can be watched on Paramount+.

Based on the novels of the same name by British writer and journalist Luke Jennings, Killing Eve tells the story of Eve Polastri, an MI5 agent in the United Kingdom Intelligence Service. Polastri is dissatisfied and bored with her office job because what she really wants is to become a spy. As she pursues her dream, destiny puts the criminal Villanelle in her path, with whom she begins a love-hate, cat-and-mouse relationship.

The series stars American actress Sandra Oh, famous for her role as Cristina Yang on Grey's Anatomy. The BAFTA winner for best television actress, Jodie Comer, plays the role of the murderous Villanelle. Fiona Shaw, from Harry Potter, is also on the cast to play Carolyn Martens character.

Besides these actresses is Mónica Lopera, who plays the character of a Latina leader of a criminal gang related to Villanelle. She can be seen in episodes 3, 4, 5 and 6.

"I've always been a fan of Killing Eve. I really can't think of a bigger TV project right now. I have been living in London for many years and fighting not to stop believing in my passion for acting. Because of that, I think Killing Eve is an opportunity that is going to change the story of my life,” she recently said in an interview.

Lopera, 36, was born in the United States and grew up in Colombia, the homeland of her mother Carmenza Cossio, who is also a well-known actress.

Mónica studied acting in Medellín, at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London and at the Corazza School for Acting and Dramatic Art in Madrid. In addition to being an actress, she is also a professional makeup artist.

She started her career in 2000, and has since participated in films such as Before The Fire and Between Two Worlds. On TV, she has joined the cast of Francisco the Mathematician, An Angel Called Blue, Flight 1503, Eva's Heels, La tusa, men also cry, and more.
