1.     Mint Field – Cambios Del Pasar

For fans of Radiohead, this Mexican duo has the ideal sound. Composed by Amor Amezcua and Estrella Sánchez, Mint Field is a new proposal that experiments with rare genres in the Latin American scene. Its first album was released in 2018 and they already have a route in scenes like Coachella and SXSW.

2.     Los Esquizitos – El Planeta Sexual

This little-known band emerged in Mexico City in 1994. Through Surf Rock and Garage, this quartet has established itself as the seed of much Mexican rock. "El Planeta Sexual" is part of their 2014 album "Escúchese Bien Fuerte".

3.     Elsa y Elmar – Culpa Tengo

This is the musical project of the Colombian Elsa Carvajal, whose "spiritual pop" earned her the recognition of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest in 2014, and who since 2016 has been conquering the international stages. Trained at the Berklee College of Music, Elsa gives Latin American music a new, more elaborate concept.

4.     Los Ángeles Azules (feat. Natalia Lafourcade) -  Nunca es Suficiente

This is another Mexican group strongly rooted in Latin rhythms. Originally from the San Lucas neighborhood in Iztapalapa, this band of "cumbia sonidera", inspired by the Colombian cumbia, has had a long family trajectory since 1976 transforming from the psychedelia to the symphonic cumbia. "Nunca es Suficiente" is their last single from 2018.

5.     Bacalao Men – Mi Querencia

This group known for its mix of genres such as salsa, hip-hop, bolero, and funk, has established itself in the history of Latin American music as one of the most important names in the experimentation of Afro-Latin rhythms. Having taken off with good wind from its original Caracas, this band now lives a new stage in Miami. "Mi Querencia" is a tribute to the original song by maestro Simón Díaz, and is part of its 2018 production.
