The Tokischa phenomenon continues to grow and surprise. The urban singer from the Dominican Republic, known for her provocative and unapologetic style, has a new achievement for her promising career. Her new single “Estilazo,” composed with Marshmello, has been selected as the new official song of the NFL.

Marshmello, who has been nominated for a Grammy, and Tokischa, considered the new rising star of Latin music, joined forces to release a song that mixes electronic dance music and Dominican dembow. It is a short and straight-to-the-point song, and catchy as usual. Her chorus could not be more explicit: "Being a bitch is fashionable, sexual style."

In the music video, Tokischa appears dressed in a metallic mesh, and she appears alongside other dancers with eccentric and suggestive outfits, making blatantly erotic gestures. In addition, it has appearances by Dennis Rodman, Nikita Dragun and La Demi. In total, it is less than three minutes of pure sound and audiovisual vice.

The lyrics and scenes are a cry of support for sexual liberation, feminism, LGBTQ+ rights and drug use. It is the same formula that brought the Dominican to success: speaking without filters of her ideals, and without caring who's offended.

For Marshmello, collaborating with the icon singer of urban music was a memorable experience.

“Working with Tokischa was amazing. I flew to the Dominican Republic and we did the song right there. She is obviously cool and talented so working with her was a lot of fun and I'm really happy with the final result,” he said.

For Tokischa, the opportunity to work with Marshmello made her very happy.

“Personally, he's so sweet, kind and modest, but he's also insightful as to how our sounds could fit together. I am very happy that he convinced me to do the song in Spanish, because the idea was originally planned for English,” she said.

The renowned DJ particularly enjoyed working in Tokischa's hometown of the Dominican Republic. For her, who has a special affection for Latin music in all its variants, being able to include electronic dance was a great personal experience.

What will be the new official song of the NFL has already reached almost 2 million views on YouTube. At just 27 years old, Tokischa is already an icon for thousands of young people, who praise her liberating spirit. For this reason, the New York Times recently defined her as "the new rebel of Latin music."

It is the first time in history that a song by an artist from the Dominican Republic was selected as the official song of the NFL Draft. The event was held at the Caesar Forum on the Las Vegas Strip.
