Symon Dice releases its first EP album in the U.S.
The Colombian unveiled 'La Liga' on Thursday, Aug. 18, produced alongside RichMusic and featuring artists like Thyago, Gigolo, La Exce and Latenightjiggy.
In an interview with EFE, Symon Dice said he also did some of the production on his new EP, La Liga, and described it as "very versatile." It's suitable for moments across the spectrum –from parties to chill kickbacks.
"Reggaeton is a very Latin genre, with Latin characteristics such as sensuality towards women. I love to write and sing to women," the rising reggaeton star said in a virtual interview from his car.
Dice also highlighted the major moment reggaeton is experiencing in Colombia, but said he moved to the U.S. when he was only 21 years old in search of an opportunity his country didn't offer.

However, he said the situation has changed in recent times, and now Colombia has a better industry and more solid production scene than before.
The 27-year-old artist from Medellín has 24,000 followers on Instagram, 22,400 on TikTok, more than 1.3 million on YouTube and almost 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
"I came to the United States because here the doors open for you, there is a lot of money and talent and art are highly valued," said the Colombian.
On La Liga, Dice wanted to demonstrate the unity and that teamwork that "is key" in the music industry.
As a producer, the singer wants the example that he has set to be followed by emerging talents, he intends to "discover" new stars of the genre who he can offer his knowledge and connections in the music industry, and explore their potentials to the fullest extent.
