Ruben Rada is about to finish his tour in Spain
Uruguayan musician Ruben 'El Negro' Rada, continues to take candombe on his tour of Spain.
The living legend of candombe, Ruben 'El Negro' Rada, announced his tour in Spain starting in June with enthusiasm. He has already visited Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona, and is about to close his tour in the city of Málaga on Friday, Nov. 12.
On the first date of his tour of the country, singer-songwriter Jorge Drexler joined Rada on stage to get Madrid dancing to the rhythm of candombe. The two great exponents of Uruguayan music were together at the show on Nov. 3.
"Thank you Jorge Drexler for your generosity and for sharing this Candombe with us," Rada wrote through his social media platforms.

The orchestra of the greatest Uruguayan percussionist is preparing for the last date of the tour in Spain, after his concert at the Razzmatazz hall in Barcelona. Together with his children, Julieta and Matías, Rada, at 78 years old, is an unparalleled, unique artist, and is currently considered one of the masters of candombe in Uruguay.
"Yesterday, I attended a master class of stage and show, in charge of the Uruguayan singer Rubén Rada... Impressive... What an exhibition of rhythm, of contact with the public, of being an artist," said the Spanish musician Caco Senante after attending the concert in Madrid and joining the orchestra for the night.
The last date in Spain with the icon of Afro-descendant music in Uruguay will be next Friday, Nov. 12 at the Sala París 15, Málaga.
