"Solo te pido" will be the title of the new song to be presented by the artists. An unreleased song, created by Sofía Reyes and Leon Leiden, two of the band's fans.

The official announcement was made through the Discord platform, where they wrote a simple message exclusively for those who were connected through that medium.

"Hi, we are learning about something and as always, you are the first to know. Next Thursday, February 23rd, we will have a new RBD song on all music platforms," reads the message.

Through Twitter, Anahí posted a short video of anticipation in which the moon can be seen with music in the background that her followers assume is part of the song's track. At the end of the video the release date is announced, "February 23rd" and the band's logo.

This would be the band's first musical release since 2009, when they presented their album "Para olvidarte de mí".

A long awaited tour

Following the announcement of the countries to be visited, 1.4 million tickets have already been sold for the "Soy Rebelde Tour" in 44 stadiums and arenas.

The world tour will begin on August 25t at the Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso, Texas, United States. After visiting different cities in the country, the tour will continue through Latin America with more than 15 dates confirmed so far.
