Hernandez makes the release of this new production just two months after the release of her most recent romantic pop album 'Sinergia'.
"For me Christmas has a very important meaning and causes me a lot of nostalgia and joy at the same time, so I tried to bring together both energies in this album," said Myriam Hernandez in the official release statement.
Nuestra Navidad' includes two original songs written by Madrid-born Jacobo Calderón, main musical ally in the process.
This musical production was carried out between studios in Miami and Madrid by Jacobo Calderón and sound engineer Boris Milán, in addition to the participation of the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra, the same team of collaborators of 'Sinergia', reads the press release.
The Christmas album project is an idea that the artist says was due about 30 years ago and refused to do because she was not "crazy about the idea of singing Christmas carols, until the pandemic we did a Christmas concert via streaming, with the premise of accompanying the public in their homes and something magical happened!
The album features her own versions of classics such as 'Luz', 'Navidad, Navidad' with a reggae reminiscence and 'Estaré en mi casa esta navidad' to the sound of a ballad. Other songs included in the album are 'Santa Claus came to town', 'Blanca Navidad', 'Noche de Paz' and 'Christmas merry Christmas'.
Nuestra Navidad' is already available through all music platforms and in lyrics video format on the official youtube channel of the singer, winner of the Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences Award for Musical Excellence during the recent edition of the Latin Grammy Awards.
