The new Mau y Ricky song "Miami" was composed by the brothers and released along with music video, which now has 400,000 views and ranks 28th on the Trending Music chart on YouTube.

"How fast music travels. Dedicate it to that person you've been waiting for your whole life. I love you guys thank you for all the love you have given to this song," wrote the Montaner duo on Instagram.

The video for "Miami" was directed by Santi Lafee. In its many different scenes, Mau y Ricky show the stereotypical life of a Miami resident with great eccentricities, luxuries and lots of partying.

In other shots, viewers see relevant spaces for Latinos living in the city, such as the restaurant El Arepazo for Venezuelans and the recent triumph of Argentina at the FIFA World Cup.

"It's really a very personal song and for that very reason we wanted to show a more casual image in the music video parodying, in a nice way, the frivolous image that many times people have of this city," said Mau y Ricky through an official statement shared with EFE.

"Miami" is a first sample of the work Mau y Ricky will release during 2023. The song was produced by JonTheProducer, Andry Kiddos and Ricky Montaner.

The Montaner brothers have been nominated to the Latin Grammy Awards twice — in 2017 as a New Artist and in 2021 for Song of the Year with "Amen," performed with Ricardo Montaner, Camilo and Evaluna Montaner.
