'The Love & Sex Tape': Maluma's long-awaited new album
Since dropping his debut album 'Magia' in 2012, the Colombian has released six total studio albums with the new tape.
After putting "Medallo on the map" with a spectacular concert on April 30, Maluma has finally released his long-awaited new album. With that spectacular concert, which appeared on the documentary The Tour Diaries produced by Amazon Music, the Colombian singer showed he is an icon of global music.
"The Love & Sex Tape is already on the street and the body knows it," Maluma announced on his Instagram.
Along with the cover image, in which a beefy dog appears holding a thong in its mouth lit up with pink eyes, the Colombian also posted a video dancing to one of the songs.
“What is your favorite song?” he asked his fans. Among the answers, they pointed out "Nos comemos vivos" and "Mal de amores."
His new work is defined by urban sounds, which have become popular in recent years. However, he did not forget the reggaeton beat that has also marked his career. The Colombian promised a musical experience that will allow his fans to let loose in an invitation to the "perreo" that he likes to promote.
“I needed the essence of Maluma from my beginnings. I felt that I needed communication with the street, with the people who enjoy this urban rhythm that has characterized me since the beginning of my career. This album represents my duality and the urban sounds of my beginnings brought to this 2022,” he said.
