After announcing his retirement, Daddy Yankee, "El Rey del Reggaeton", reached #1 on Spotify's Global Albums chart with his farewell album 'Legendaddy' with over 175 million combined plays and recently debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart, marking his fifth consecutive debut at #1 on the chart.

Currently, 'Leggendaddy' is the #1 Latin album in the world, also reaching the #8 spot on the Billboard Top 200 chart. 

Between Spotify plays, YouTube plays and his Billboard placement, Yankee has nearly doubled his previous record.

"Today I announce my retirement from music by giving you my best production and concert tour," said Daddy Yankee. "I will say goodbye by celebrating these 32 years of experience with this new collector's item, my Legendaddy album. On August 10th, the "La Última Vuelta World Tour" will kick off at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon and will run for five months. In addition, the reggaetonero will be giving his final farewell World Tour during the last months of the year.
