This songwriting academy led by the influential Colombian singer-songwriter will help "recognize five up-and-coming Miami-based Latin artists who are dominating their beat and crowning the next generation of Latin talent," Billboard and Burger King announced in an official release.

Starting this Tuesday, September 27th, audiences around the world will be able to see more of this musical adventure by visiting Billboard's website, where they will find two exclusive episodes.

"We believe in ruling to your beat. Music gives artists the opportunity to tell their story and touch the lives of others, and 'The Next Generation' will give aspiring musicians the mentorship and platform to make their mark," said Zahra Nurani, Head of Marketing Communications for Burger King North America.

In addition to participating in the songwriting camp, Camilo's students have been invited to a VIP experience at Billboard's Latin Music Week, where they will receive access to the full week of panels, concerts and networking.

"We are proud to launch this initiative in conjunction with Billboard Latin Music Week, a cultural celebration that has illuminated Latin creators for over 30 years. This workshop is an incredible opportunity for emerging talent in our hometown of Miami, and we look forward to seeing these names at the top of the charts one day," added Nurani.

"At Billboard, we believe in putting the artist at the center of everything we do," said Billboard President Mike Van.

The overall event will be held at the Faena Forum in Miami from September the 26th through the 30th, 2022, coinciding with National Hispanic Heritage Month. The festivities will continue through the weekend with Billboard's En Vivo concert series, a sequence of high-energy concerts held at the Oasis.

Camilo will headline Billboard's Latin Music Week Billboard En Vivo concert at Oasis this Tuesday, September 27th.
