Julio Iglesias Jr.'s new upcoming 10-song album features all the music he wanted to make his whole life. In it, he offers his fans an updated version of the classic love ballad: "Into the Night," a song that was originally recorded in 1980 by Benny Mardones.

The Spaniard mentioned to EFE that it was very difficult to choose the songs for the new album, since "all the songs mean a lot to me," he said.

"Rudy and I would sit for hours thinking about what songs we were going to do, and what songs we could turn into a big band production that would sound amazing. Another song on the album is 'Just the Way You Are,' which is one of my favorite songs of all time." he said in an interview with Allison Kugel.

Other tracks on Under the Covers include a Stevie Wonder medley duet with Brian McKnight, a big band version of Right Said Fred's I'm Too Sexy, a jazz-inspired version of Billy Joel's "Just the Way You Are," and a new rendition of the George Michael hit "Careless Whisper" duet with Jewel.

In addition, Julio Iglesias Jr will also perform songs by his father, the legendary Julio Iglesias, on this new album.

"I've been raised in a musical family where I've been lucky enough to live music, to be able to travel and tour, to be able to listen to such beautiful songs," he noted to People en Español. "It was an inspiration to see my father on a stage and sing those songs that I sing today as well. I carry those songs in my heart because they remind me so much of my childhood, and the fact that now I can sing them all over the world is wonderful."

The first single from the album "Overjoyed / I Just Called to Say I Love You / Isn't She Lovely" featuring Brian McKnight is available on Oct. 14.
