Colombian singer Mike Bahia announced the birth of his son with fellow singer Greeicy on social media. 

Sharing a photo of the little one's footprints on his arm, Bahia welcomed his firstborn into the world and thanked his partner for her effort during this time.

"As of today we leave a mark partner Greeicy. I admire you, I respect you and I celebrate you; you keep taking me to another level! YOU ARE AMAZING! I LOVE YOU ALWAYS!" wrote the artist. 

Starting on April 13, the artist said she was "hours away" from giving birth and that they had decided to name the baby Kai or Arena, depending on its gender.

Rendón and Bahía have been in a relationship for more than nine years. At the end of 2021, rumors about her pregnancy circulated on social media.

On Dec. 23, through an emotional video in which a guitar can be heard in the background, the singer from Cali confirmed the news.

"It has been a year where many things have happened. A year that despite the difficulties brought us wonderful things.... A lot of learning and something magical... something inexplicable... something powerful that we want to share with you. We are preparing a wonderful meeting to see each other face to face and celebrate the magic of life.... We are waiting for you all," she wrote at the bottom of the video.

Arena or Kai? 

Some time ago, even before Greeicy was pregnant, the artists said they already knew the name they would give to their children. According to what she said, if it was a boy he would be named 'Kai,' and if it was a girl, they would name him 'Arena.' A few weeks ago, the couple got a tattoo of the word 'Kai,' without knowing the baby's gender. 

To clear the doubts, Greeicy said: "We don't know if it's a boy or a girl, we don't know yet, but as we feel so much that it's a boy, we said: 'As we don't know what it is, that the day it's born that both have their names on our skins," as they already had the name Arena tattooed.

Mike Bahia posted a message on Twitter dedicated to Greeicy, closing with the hashtag #Kai, and this confirmed the suspicions of his fans about the gender of the baby, which is a boy.
