In 1994, Olga Tañon's song "Es mentiroso" was part of her album Siente el Amor and became one of the most recognized songs from the 'Woman of Fire' worldwide, and also became an anthem of female empowerment.
"'Es mentiroso' is one of the songs that has given me the most satisfaction. That's why, when choosing which song I wanted to cover, this was a priority. And for the men who complained that they couldn't defend themselves, now they have a space within the song," said Tañon in a press release.
The song was premiered with a music video, recorded in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, directed by Waldo Van and Billy Denizard and produced by María de los Ángeles Martínez and Denizard.
