The music of Dani Barbar, another new promise from the Latin music factory in Miami, sounds like classic rhythms that invite you to dance and enjoy. It does not intend to reinvent anything, but to value the validity of the sounds that were so successful throughout the world. Pop rhythms and simple but effective compositions that evoke hits by greats like Carlos Vives or Shakira, to name a few.

According to the press release issued to promote her new single, which will be released at the end of 2022, Latin music is experiencing a new era. “In my new EP I will project a genuine and authentic way, a fresh work without limits of borders. Innovative and sensual, where I will transmit messages with which the audience can identify”, said the singer.

Despite the fact that the music published to date by Barbar is reminiscent of classic sounds, the young artist affirms that she intends to experiment with new genres in her new publication. Barbar began her career in show business, and after graduation she participated in musicals, the church choir, and even tried her luck in auditions for renowned television programs such as The Voice, American Idol or The Four.

Her powerful voice stood out in prestigious productions: she played Perón's lover in Evita; Emma from Song and Dance; Lola from the musical Damn Yankees; and even she stood out explaining monologues in public. She then began Interdisciplinary Music Studies at the prestigious Berklee College of Music (Boston), where she was able to deepen her musical knowledge. She now she intends to show that she is prepared to try to reach the top.

Regarding her musical career, she debuted with the single “My way”, a song co-produced with Arcaeus. Here she demonstrated her ability to fuse styles such as pop, urban sounds and even Arabic rhythms, with lyrics in English that claim empowerment. In Italy, a choreographer used her song to create a music video with her students from her dance studio. On “11PM,” she showed off her trap side along with pop beats. But shortly after, “Se rebeló” arrived, her first single in Spanish that already sounded completely Latin.

Barba aroused interest among prominent music producers, who value the potential of her voice and her style. The list includes names like Yasmil Marrufo, Alfredo Matheus, Julio Cesar Sierra, RedOne, Archie Peña, Adam Hurtsfield, Jona Camacho, Alfonso Ordoñez or Toby Tobón.

Her first album was recorded in Medellín (Colombia), where she recorded six songs marked by the Latin urban pop style. Last year she published the single “Si tú no bailas conmigo”, where she invited the composer Jon Secada to participate in the song. In her Instagram profile, Barbar shows multiple interviews, galas or moments of composition, but the message that she highlights from her is "God above all".
